19 Rosslyn Terrace, Dowanhill, Glasgow

17 Rosslyn Terrace is a curved terrace of two-bay tenements built around 1875, featuring three storeys, an attic, and a basement. The exterior is finished in polished ashlar, with v-channeling at the ground level, and parts of it are either painted or stone cleaned.

To the right, there are steps leading down to a tripartite doorway, which includes glazed sidelights and double leaf doors. The first and second floors have single light windows with architraves. On the left side, a two-storey canted bay window extends from the basement, with a bipartite window at the second floor. The windows are sash style with plate glass glazing.

The building has a cornice above the ground and first floors, with continuous cill strings at the second floor. There is a string course at the eaves, which features a bracketed cornice and a blocking course. The roof is slate and has tall corniced axial stacks. The flanks are made of droved ashlar, and there is a low stugged ashlar wall with polished coping. Square ashlar gatepiers are complemented by cast-iron railings leading to the steps.
