32 Victoria Crescent Road, Dowanhill, Glasgow

18 Victoria Crescent Road is a terrace of houses built around 1872, featuring three bays that curve down a slope. The building has two to three storeys, with an attic and basement. It includes six shallow advanced pavilions arranged in a pattern of 6-9-6-9-6-9. The pavilions and the houses numbered 6, 8, and 10 are three storeys tall and constructed from polished ashlar stone, which is channelled at the ground level and partly cleaned.

On the left side, steps lead down to a wide doorway with a cornice that features double-leaf panelled doors. To the right on the first floor, there is a corbelled three-light bow oriel window, which is corniced and has a balustraded parapet. This parapet continues as a roof balustrade at the two-storey range.

All windows on the first and second floors are architraved sash windows with plate glass glazing. There is a continuous band course above the ground level and at the cills of the second floor. The eaves have a cornice, and there is a roof balustrade at the two-storey range. A blocking course is present over houses numbered 14, 32, and 34. The building features various dormer shapes, corniced axial stacks, and slate roofs.

The doorways at houses numbered 32 and 34 are paired centrally. Houses numbered 10 and 12 have tripartite vestibule doors with acid-etched panels and sidelights. The eastern flank has three bays detailed similarly to the front. The rear elevation is made of coursed stugged ashlar, with 12-pane or plate glass glazing. A tall coped rubble wall borders the rear lane, while cast-iron railings are present at the front steps and a low rendered wall encloses the basements, which also feature modern cast-iron railings.
