Description

Tollcross Children’s Farm and Courtyard, located at 254B Wellshot Road in Glasgow, was likely designed by David Bryce around 1858. The building features crow-stepped stables arranged in a courtyard layout, with a symmetrical rock-faced south front that has recessed ends. A pend is situated in the center gable, and loft-attic windows in the flanking bays extend through the eaves. The windows are small-paned sashes, and the building has a modern tiled roof with coped stacks. Additionally, there are lower wings that extend to the north.
