Description
14 Kelvin Drive is a building dating from around 1865, and it serves as the end house of Terrace 4-13 Kelvin Drive. This four-storey, three-bay structure is constructed of painted ashlar, which is channelled at the ground level. The central entrance features a tripartite doorway, while to the right, there is a four-light canted window, and to the left, a four-light bowed window, both extending through all storeys. Each floor has continuous cill courses, which are decorated on the first floor. The building has a cornice above the ground floor and string courses above the first floor. The second floor is topped with a cornice and a pierced roof parapet that features a circled design. The roof is slate-covered, with a conical roof and finial above the bowed bay. The entrance is flanked by square corniced gatepiers and similar ones that form a balustrade around the door.
