Description
12 Moray Place in Glasgow is a two-storey terrace building, possibly designed by A and G Thomson, constructed between 1864 and 1865. The structure features a symmetrical design with simplified elements compared to the adjacent terrace by Alexander Thomson (numbers 1-10). It has pedimented end pavilions with inset pilasters and is built from stone-cleaned ashlar. The ground floor is channelled, and the first-floor windows are margined. The windows are primarily sash types, mostly with a 4-pane glazing pattern. Additional architectural details include a deep entablature, chimney stacks, and a slate roof.
