Description
148, 150, and 152 Albert Drive in Glasgow is a three-storey and attic tenement building, designed in the style of Thomson and Turnbull, possibly by Robert Turnbull, and likely constructed in the later 1870s in three phases. The building features shops at the ground level and is finished with stone-cleaned yellow ashlar above. It has horizontal courses and pilasters that rise from the first-floor window jambs to support individual entablatures with disc detailing. The tenement has single window bays, which are sash windows with a four-pane glazing pattern, except for the recessed canted corner bays and a full-height canted bay at the northern end of each side elevation. The dormers appear to be from the 19th century, while the stacks have been significantly altered, and the roof is covered with modern tiles.
