Chalmers Birthplace is an 18th-century building located on Old Post Office Close in Anstruther Easter. It is a two-storey structure with stuccoed walls that have margins, featuring a crowstepped gable and a pantiled roof. A later addition to the north side is slated. The building underwent significant repairs in 1885.
