Description

The Town House on High Street in Newburgh is a two-storey building with an ashlar front, built in a classical style. It features a central tower that projects forward, which has an arched tripartite doorpiece and a plain Venetian window above. The tower transitions to an octagonal belfry stage topped with a crenellated parapet and a spire. There is one window on either side of the tower. The front area has steps and a Victorian balustrade. At the back, there is a low two-storey former corn exchange building that was added in 1830.
