Ship Cottage is a two-storey house located at 3 Low Causeway in Torryburn. The building features a harled exterior and a slate roof, with a moulded eaves course and scroll skewputts. The classic doorpiece includes a keystone inscribed with "1745 RD 1745." Above the door, there is a panel representing a ship, which is inscribed with "Ship Cottage 1747/IT."
