4 Toft Terrace is a late 18th-century building that has two storeys, a basement, and an attic, situated on a steep slope. The structure is made of rubble with painted margins and features a piended dormer with a hoist. At number 5, there is a forestair, while number 3 has two low attic windows located under the eaves. The roof is covered with pantiles.
