Description
18 East Shore in Pittenweem is a building reputedly dating from 1686, possibly from the very early 18th century. It is a three-storey structure with five windows, featuring harled walls with painted margins and a crowstepped gable. The central gable has a curvilinear wallhead, and there is a pend with an empty panel above the doorpiece, which is covered with pantiles. Inside, the first floor boasts fine original panelled work, and there is a coachhouse located at the back of the building.
