Description

1 Brown's Close in Pittenweem is a building dated 1617, with a reconstruction from 1812. It is a two-storey structure made of colour-washed rubble and has a pantile roof. There is a later projecting east wing and a pilastered porch at the corner. The building features chamfered openings and has a single-storey cottage at the rear, which is now used as a hall and has a slated roof.
