Description
Flisk Manse is a house dating from 1811, originally a manse. It is a two-storey and attic, three-window structure with a harled and whitewashed exterior and margins. The roof is slated, with splayed dormers that have splayed, blind sides. A lean-to outshot is situated on the east gable. The house was considerably repaired by John Mylne in 1866-7, with further repairs and a porch added in 1886. Associated with the manse is a court of offices, including a section on the east side featuring a pantiled lean-to with a loft doocot. Records indicate that J & A Rose were the builders for the 1886 work, though plans, though unsigned, are believed to be by Cappon.
