10 Gibson Place, St Andrews

6 Gibson Place in St Andrews is a building constructed between 1868 and 1869, designed by architect George Rae. The west block, which includes numbers 8 to 11, features a tall, asymmetrical design with two storeys, a basement, and an attic. It is built of ashlar stone and showcases crowstepped gables and bay windows, displaying Renaissance architectural details, although there have been some unfortunate minor alterations.

The row of buildings numbered 1 to 7 is likely also designed by Rae, with numbers 1 and 2 dated 1859. This section consists of two storeys and an attic, with varying architectural details that include both Renaissance and Tudor styles. Notably, there are heavy modern alterations to the attic spaces of numbers 1 and 2, and the doorpiece at number 4 has been altered as well.
