Description

The Bell-Pettigrew Museum at the University of St Andrews was built between 1909 and 1911, designed by architects Gillespie and Scott. This two-storey building is in the Jacobean style and features snecked stugged rubble. The western frontage is approximately symmetrical, with a central bay that is flanked by superimposed Doric and Ionic columns. There is a later extension to the northeast that includes a boxed attic.
