Description

The Control Tower, built between 1939 and 1940, is a three-storey rectangular building with a flat roof. The third storey is reduced in height to allow for an observation walkway and a small upper observation deck. The southern elevation features a garage for crash tenders. The exterior is finished with smooth cement-rendered brick, and it has multi-pane metal casement windows. Inside, the room layout remains intact, and there is a concrete stair with a timber handrail.
