Description
The police station at 39-41 Court Street in Haddington is a single-storey and attic classical building from the 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a slated piended roof. The entrance bay projects and includes a pediment, with an arched fanlight doorpiece and a cast and wrought iron lampholder arch. Above the door, there is a sculptural detail of a lion. On either side of the entrance, there are two windows. The building also has a main cornice and blocking course, along with two stone pedimented dormers.
