Description
2 North View in Westerton, Bearsden, is a building designed by J A W Grant with consulting from Raymond Unwin, constructed between 1913 and 1915. This English Arts & Crafts style structure features a symmetrical block of eight houses, with a harled exterior and two wide timber-framed gables. The building is two storeys high, with upper windows that break through the eaves and ground floor windows that are predominantly 2/3 light, mostly retaining their original glazing with small-paned upper sashes. The harled stacks are positioned below the apex of the slate roofs, and the porches are recessed on the flanks.
