Description

5 Mill Street in Ochiltree is an interesting group of vernacular houses that display a variety of architectural styles.

No. 3, known as The Commercial Inn, is a two-storey building constructed from coursed stone blocks, with the lower floor patched with cement.

No. 5 is also two storeys high and features a harled exterior, with a gated pend that leads to a yard at the back.

Nos. 7, 9, and 11 are single-storey dwellings, each with steps leading up to their front doors.

No. 13 is an older building with yellow cement, notable for its interesting doorway that has a shouldered architrave. This building is one storey high and includes half gabled dormers.
