Description
Broomrig, located on Harviestoun Road in Dollar, is a house that was enlarged and recast around 1890 from an earlier structure. It features a classical facade made of white painted stone and stucco, with a central porch and a bowed window that extends up two floors. The building is topped with a balustraded parapet and has a concealed door. Inside, there are notable features such as a fitted library made of mahogany, which includes an inglenook fireplace. Additionally, there is a glazed conservatory extending from the side of the house.
