Description
The Apostolic Church, located at 2 Davie Street in Edinburgh, was built between 1812 and 1813. It features a square plan and is two stories high with a five-window front made of droved ashlar stone facing Davie Street. The central three windows are slightly recessed, and there is a wider single-storey entrance that includes a double doorpiece, which has new doors installed in 1886. This entrance is framed by coupled Greek Doric columns that are also recessed into the facade, likely added around 1830. The west side of the building, facing West Richmond Street, has a four-window stuccoed design with margins. The interior was remodeled by G. Washington Browne in 1886.
