Description
9 Inverleith Gardens in Edinburgh is a two-storey and attic terrace block designed by Sir Rowand Anderson around 1897 to 1900 in a Free Jacobean style. The buildings at Nos. 9, 13, 17, and 21 feature gabled roofs and rectangular bays on both the ground and first floors. Other properties in the terrace have shallow rectangular oriel bays with tripartite windows, and wooden balconies above the tripartite dormer windows. The doorways are framed with architraves and have rectangular fanlights set within scrolls and pediments. The construction includes snecked rubble with ashlar dressings and has slated roofs.
