Description

37-39 West High Street in Forfar is a two-storey building that dates back to the early 18th century but has undergone significant alterations over the years. The facade features three windows and is finished in stucco, with a slight spray effect at the western end. A notable architectural detail is a grotesque head skewputt located at the gable shared with the adjacent building at number 35. The roof is felt-covered. The building was re-categorised as C(S) from B in 2006, reflecting its group interest, which includes considerations for both the interior and exterior as relevant to its type.
