Description

The Church at Kirkton of Craig is an aisled oblong structure featuring an 80-foot high west tower that displays transitional architectural details. The building is constructed of rubble, which was formerly harled, and has a slate roof. Inside, there is an arcaded design. Built in 1799, this church is recognized as the earliest Gothic Revival church to be constructed in Scotland. It is currently disused.
