Description
This building, known as the General Merchant's on Inverurie Street in Auchenblae, dates from the early 19th century. It consists of a pair of two-storey houses that are smooth rendered. The northern house features two windows and a central boarded door, with windows that have been enlarged for shop use. The southern house has three windows and also includes a central boarded door. The roof is slated with straight skews and block ends, and there are brick stacks at the ends. At the rear, there is a two-storey addition and a one-storey wing to the north, with steps leading to a first-floor door at the rear of the southern house.
