Description
Invery House is a building that originally dates from the 16th or 17th century, with significant alterations made to create a kitchen wing for a new house. The main structure is a two-storey rectangular plan, with a new house added at right angles around 1800. This addition features two storeys and a basement, with two Venetian windows on the ground floor and a single-storey, basement quadrant link at the external angle, which corresponds to a quadrant entrance hall on the south side. The south wing addition matches the style of the main block and also has two storeys and a basement, with a three-window centre featuring a Venetian window on the ground floor. The exterior is harled with margins, and the south wings are topped with piended roofs.
