Description
Garden House at Aboyne Castle dates from the earlier 19th century. It features a rectangular-plan garden with walls made of granite rubble and flat coping. The Garden House is located to the northwest and includes a base course, projecting cills, and an eaves course. The west elevation has a boarded timber door with a letterbox fanlight, along with irregularly placed timber sash and case windows. The roof is covered with graded grey slate, and there are cast-iron rainwater goods.
To the west, within the outer wall, is The Wee House, which has a square plan and includes a glazed door with timber windows. Its piended roof is currently undergoing replacement, and it also features cast-iron rainwater goods.
