Description

7 Bridgend in Dunecht is a group of cottages that likely dates back to the late 18th century. The buildings were reconstructed in 1925 based on sketches by Dr. Kelly, featuring thatched roofs. They underwent another reconstruction in 1950, during which the thatch was replaced with slates and many details were significantly altered. The cottages are arranged in a U-shape around a sunken court, with the eastern and western houses being single-storey with an attic, while the northern block is single-storey.
