Description
7 The Terrace in Dunecht is a row of picturesque single-storey and attic cottages built in the early 1900s by George Bennet Mitchell. These cottages are arranged as semi-detached pairs and are set well back from the road. They are constructed from squared rubble and feature a central timber and glazed porch with a gable that has bargeboarding. Each cottage also has a pair of gabled dormer windows, which are similarly adorned with bargeboarding. At each end of the row, there are later shops designed by David Morris for the Dunecht estate office in 1923 and 1936.
