Description

Linnorie is a large, single-storey and attic building constructed around 1805 in an L-plan. A front addition was made in 1856 by James Matthews, incorporating a bay window and gabled dormer heads. The building served as the manse of Huntly. Further details can be found in the New Statistical Account, volume 12, page 1042, and contracts published in the Aberdeen Journal on June 18th, 1856.
