Description
The Public Library on Rosemount Viaduct in Aberdeen was designed by George Watt of Brown & Watt and built between 1891 and 1892. This two-storey building features a basement and a tall roof topped with a central cupola. Its architectural style is Renaissance, clearly influenced by James Sellars of Glasgow. The lamp standards outside are castings by Walter Macfarlane, designed to match Sellars' style.
