Description
St Mary's Roman Catholic Cathedral in Huntly Street, Aberdeen, was designed by Alexander Ellis in 1860, with the spire added by R.G. Wilson of Ellis and Wilson in 1877. The cathedral features a mid-decorated style, with a nave and aisles that include a clerestory and dormers on the aisle roofs, showcasing fine interior carpentry. The chancel is also part of the design. The interior has been modernized over time. Additionally, there is a two-storey and attic clergy house constructed of pinned rubble, which has V-plan dormers.
