Description
This is a twin-span bridge constructed of masonry and concrete, situated over a river at Hilden. The bridge was erected in the late nineteenth century, though it underwent later alterations. It was likely widened in the mid-nineteenth century, and the parapet was modified during this time, significantly changing its original character. The structure was surveyed during the First Survey but was not listed. A partial survey was undertaken during the Second Survey, but it was determined not to be of sufficient interest to warrant a full survey.
