This is a fourteenth- or fifteenth-century castle ruin, located on Oldcastle Road, Newtownstewart. It is already recorded as an ancient monument (NIEA SMR TYR 017:012) and is now designated as a Monument in State Care. Due to this status, only a partial record of the building was taken during the survey. The building is not listed and has no associated architectural or historical interest. It is notable as a monument.
