Description
The Hermitage is a mid-19th century, two-storey, three-bay house situated at 4 Main Street, Garvagh, Coleraine. It is a symmetrical design with a hipped roof and vertically aligned openings arranged around a central, segmental entrance. The building’s fabric has been reinstated. It is plainly detailed, representing a relatively common house type. It was surveyed during the First Survey but not listed and only a partial record was taken during the Second Survey because it was considered not worthy of a full survey.
