28-32 Joy Street was originally part of a terrace of three-storey housing dating to the early nineteenth century. The original buildings have since been demolished and replaced with two-storey red brick housing. The site was surveyed during the First Survey but not listed. A partial record was subsequently created during the Second Survey following demolition. The building does not possess listing status, nor is there associated architectural or historical interest. Ownership is private.
