Description

Ballymacarrett Library, located on Templemore Avenue in east Belfast, is an inter-war building constructed in the neo-Italianate style. It is a two-storey brick structure and retains much of its original character, including a tall parapet, a stone doorcase, and 6/6 sash windows. The building was initially surveyed in the First Survey but not listed, and a partial record was taken during the Second Survey as it was deemed not worthy of a full survey. It formerly and currently serves as a library. The building is not listed, and exhibits neither architectural nor historical interest.
