Description
The house, known as Old Head, was a single-storey bungalow built in the immediate post-war period, around 1950. It was designed for Douglas Wilson by the architect Granville Smyth. The design included large windows, a prominent stone chimney, and stone quoins defining the front entrance recess. A link block extended the bungalow to a one-and-a-half-storey addition. The house was featured in an article on Ulster architecture in the Architects Journal on 31 May 1951, published by R. J. McKinstry. The building has since been demolished, and a new housing development has been constructed on the site.
