Description
The former Employment Exchange, located on Dufferin Avenue in Bangor, County Down, was a small, single-story building constructed in 1936 and designed by the architects of the Northern Ireland Ministry of Finance. It was originally built in rustic brick with a red-tiled hipped roof and sash windows. However, the building’s appearance was later compromised by additions. The Employment Exchange has since been demolished, and a car park now occupies the site. It was the subject of a partial survey, but is not listed for its architectural or historical interest.
