The building is an inter-war primary school of an L-shaped layout, comprising a teaching block with a hall located to the rear. The single-storey block itself remains intact, however its external appearance has been altered by subsequent extensions, which have reduced its original integrity. The building was not included in the initial survey of listed buildings.
