Description

This is a group of three small, two-story houses dated approximately 1840 to 1850, located on the south side of Long Westgate. The houses are constructed of yellow brick with gable-end slate roofs, a wool frieze, and flat eaves, with brackets visible on No. 103. Each house features a single window with recessed sash windows and intact glazing bars. The windows are topped by slightly cambered, gauged brick arches. The doors consist of four molded panels, each with a rectangular fanlight and a surround featuring panelled stucco pilasters, a frieze, and projecting cornices. Access is provided via two stone steps. The buildings are listed for their group value, alongside Nos. 101 to 107 (odd) and No. 15 St Mary’s Street.
