Description
Nos 11 to 16 on Foxhouses Road were built in 1814 as part of a single terrace composition from the 18th century. The buildings are well-proportioned and dignified. The central section, comprising Nos 13 and 14, features a pediment and rises to four storeys, with the main rooms located on the first floor. It has a joint porch supported by three Doric columns, accessed by a flight of double curving steps, leading to two doors at ground level beneath the main doors. The other houses, Nos 11, 12, 15, and 16, are three storeys tall and each has a single porch. Nos 11 and 12 are adorned with attached Composite columns, while Nos 15 and 16 have clustered columns, all topped with broken pediments. Each house includes one sash window on the ground floor and two above, mostly featuring 16 panes. These properties, along with Nos 1 to 20A, 22, and 23, form a cohesive group.
