Description

The Church of St Peter in Brackley is a Grade I listed building with a rich architectural history. It features an ornate late Norman south doorway and a fine 13th-century west tower. The south aisle arcade is also from the 13th century, while the chancel dates to the late 13th century. An early 14th-century north arcade complements the structure, and the south chapel, built in the 14th century, includes an ogee arched south doorway. Inside, there are wall monuments from the 18th and 19th centuries, as well as a clerestory in the nave from the early 16th century. Additionally, a royal hatchment from the 18th century can be found in the south aisle.
