Description
Number 23 on Windsor End is an 18th-century building that was rebuilt around 1900. It features red brick with burnt headers, while the first floor and side are cement rendered. The roof is made of handmade tiles and has a hipped end with a modillion cornice. There is a cornice at the first-floor level as well. The building has a range of two sash windows. On the ground floor, there is a central modern door topped with a semicircular hood supported by scroll brackets and fluted pilasters, alongside a shallow bay shop window and one sash window. All windows are fitted with glazing bars. This building is listed for its group value.
