Description
Bank Farm House is a 17th-century house that has been altered over time. It is timber-framed and was later cased in brick during the 18th and 19th centuries. The roof is tiled, half-hipped at the south end, with a central chimney built of old bricks and two original gabled dormers on the east side, along with three more recent dormers on the west. The house is one storey and has an attic. The east side has modern casement windows, irregularly spaced, with one three-light window to the left featuring a segmental arched head. A modern, glazed lean-to porch is on the right. Inside, there are two large inglenooks centred around the main chimney. The interior retains exposed timber framing, including curved windbraces in the roof.
