Description

Whitegate is a former pair of cottages that has been converted into a single house. The building dates from the 17th century or earlier and features a timber-framed structure. The west half has an overhanging first floor and is refaced with tile-hanging, while the east half is finished with clunch and red brick dressings and quoins. There is a flint and red brick extension to the west. The roof is hipped and tiled, and the house has casement windows. It stands two storeys high and has four windows in total.
