Description

Upper Vining is a farmhouse that was formerly two cottages. It dates from the 17th century or earlier and features a double L-shaped design, with the west wing added in the 18th century. The building is constructed of stone rubble with red brick dressings and quoins. It has a steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof. The windows are casements, some of which have stone mullions, while others are blocked. There is a pointed doorway that has been repaired in brick, showing remnants of an old dripmould. A crow-stepped chimney breast is located on the east wall. The farmhouse has two storeys and three windows in the west wing.
