Description

Bartons is an L-shaped building situated on the north west side of the road in Stoughton. The south wing likely dates to the 17th century, although it was altered and refaced in the early 19th century. It is two storeys high with an attic in the gable ends, and has three windows facing south east. The exterior is now faced with stacco. The roof is half-hipped and covered in slate. Casement windows are fitted. The north west wing is lower in elevation and was built in the early 19th century, with two windows featuring sash glazing bars. A small porch supported by Doric columns is also present.
