Description

The Old Bakehouse is a 17th-century or earlier building, possibly of multiple build phases, located on the north side of Church Street in Amberley. It is a two-storey structure with three window bays. The exterior is constructed of stone rubble and has been colour-washed grey. The roof is hipped and thatched. The windows are casement windows with small square panes. The easternmost bay, featuring a gabled dormer and a tiled roof, appears to be a later addition to the original building.
