Description
The Jointure is an 18th century building located at No 15 South Street in Ditchling. It consists of two sections; the part next to No 13 is a two-storey structure with three windows, featuring a front that is partly red brick and partly stuccoed. The main section to the south is taller, with four windows and a painted brick exterior. It has a slate roof and a doorway with a flat hood supported by brackets, leading to a door with six moulded panels. The south front is stuccoed and has three windows along with two dormers. A plaque on the building notes that Sir Frank Brangwyn, a Royal Academician who lived from 1867 to 1956, resided there for many years.
